Shakespeare's life is somewhat of a mystery as there weren't many records of his life and times.
* Church records from Holy Trinity Church indicate that he was baptized there on April 26, 1564. He was the third of eight children. His father was wealthy in Shakespeare's early childhood, but his fortunes declined.
* It is documented that he married Anne Hathaway on November 28, 1582. William was 18 at the time, and Anne was 26 and pregnant. They had three children, one of whom died in childhood.
* By 1594, he was not only acting and writing for the Lord Chamberlain's Men (called the King's Men after the ascension of James I in 1603), but was a managing partner in the operation as well. His company was the most successful of the day.
* He wrote his will in 1611 bequeathing his properties to his daughter Susanna (married in 1607 to Dr. John Hall). To his surviving daughter Judith, he left £300, and to his wife Anne left "my second best bed."
* Shakespeare was interred at Holy Trinity in Stratford on April 25, 1616.
* He wrote his own epitaph, which is famous:

Are you referring to events in his personal life, or events that happened while he was living? There is not much known about Shakespeare's personal life. There is a link below to biographical information here on enotes. You should read it over to see what is interesting to you.
One thing that you might choose is that he had a son named Hamnet, which is close to the character in one of his plays, Hamlet. He left school at age 15, but that was not uncommon in his day. Also of interest is that there has been doubt surrounding who really wrote his plays. All sorts of theories abound that argue Shakespeare didn't write them all, or didn't write any of them. None of this is proven, however.
Shakespeare's wife was 8 years older than he. They had twins, a boy and a girl, and the boy died (Hamnet).
