In an attempt to get her groove back, Stella is staying at an adult resort in Jamaica, where she hoped to indulge in some sexual adventure. One day, she meets the man whom she believes will be the perfect partner for her planned escapades.

After her morning jog, Stella returns to the beach hotel and makes her way to the dining room. Once she sits down at her table, she notices a tall, handsome young man nearby. With his white T-shirt, bling, and long, hairy arms, he looks just like a rapper you'd see in an MTV video.

Stella leans across and asks the man right out if he's a rapper. The answer is no, but that doesn't prevent the two from striking up a conversation. Stella is obviously attracted to the man, and before long, he's joining her for breakfast.

The man introduces himself as Winston Shakespeare. At first, Stella thinks he's joking, but it really is his name. She wonders if it's a common surname in Jamaica; she also wonders if Winston, like his famous namesake, can relate to or understand tragedy. Very soon, the two are getting along famously, chatting away like old friends, and establishing a connection that will change both their lives forever.
