Theresa Rebeck: Collected Plays (1999) is a compilation of all of Rebeck’s full-length and one-act plays.

Pygmalion is a renowned 1913 play by George Bernard Shaw that reimagines the ancient Greek myth. In this story, a cultured London professor wagers with a friend that he can transform an unschooled, working-class girl from the city into the epitome of upper-class sophistication. As he achieves his goal, he finds himself falling in love with her.

David Mamet’s play Oleanna (1992) also delves into the theme of sexual harassment. While Rebeck’s work humorously examines the fallout of harassment in the workplace, Mamet’s play offers a more somber investigation of sexual harassment in a college setting.
