Malcolm X made this provocative speech, also commonly referred to as "The Chickens Coming Home to Roost,", to share his prediction that there would soon be a reckoning for white Americans. God can set up his new world, the Muslim world, or world of Islam, which will be established on the principles to truth, peace, and brotherhood, God himself must first destroy this evil Western world, the white world... a wicked world, ruled by a race of devils, that preaches falsehood, practices slavery, and thrives on indecency and immorality.
Malcolm X expressed his frustration with black empowerment movements that would work alongside white liberals. He felt that this type of collaboration was folly. If white America was doomed, then
our own people would be foolish to accept her deceitful offers of integration into her doomed society at this late date!
With this speech, Malcolm X was fighting for a new world order: one in which white society was punished for its long history of subjugation of the world's black population. He wanted the descendants of slaves to have recompense for all the oppression of them and their ancestors. If this could happen, a world in which black people would finally be free could be achieved.
