Lotteries can contribute to the attainment of justice if the proceeds from the lottery are used in proper ways.

Lotteries take in a great deal of money, even when we account for the prizes, lotteries raise large amounts of revenue for the states that run them.  If that money is used for purposes that advance the cause of justice, the lottery can help to attain justice.  For example, if the money from the lottery is used to fund education for children in poorer neighborhoods, justice is served.

So long as lottery money is used for purposes that are just, lotteries can help to promote justice.
