*This work, a poetry anthology that contains at least five, and possibly more, poems by Wyatt, survives in three fragments. The first fragment was published under the title above around 1538; the second was probably published around 1549 with the subtitle A Boke of Balettes; the third was likely published around 1563 as The courte of Venus. Newly and diligently corrected with many proper ballades newly amended, and also added therunto which haue not before bene imprinted.

†This volume, which is also known as Tottel's Miscellany, for its publisher, Richard Tottel, contains poems by Wyatt as well as Surrey.
