The role of the reader, then, is one of the most important parts to any understanding of texts. As you know, all readers are unique. In other words, all readers come to texts with different experiences, insights, and cultural sensibilities. For this reason, all interpretation is a highly personal endeavor and in truth unique. In addition, all reader see different things in the stories that they read. This is one of the reasons why it is great for readers to share with one another and discuss texts. People are learn so much from each other.
