You do not say what year French you are in, but if you are in 10th grade, you are probably in French II or French III, unless you are advanced. In any case, do not try to write above your level. It should be something that you and your classmates would understand. Your teacher is not looking for you to write something perfect in verse, so don't worry. Just don't make silly mistakes in spelling, verb tense and the use of accent marks that you should know at your level. Does your poem have to rhyme? If so, again, try to choose easy words that other kids in your class...
