Theodora states that this is where her writing ends. She hears a knock on the convent door and then hears Raimbaut’s voice asking if an Amazon has passed through the convent, as he continues to search for Bradamante. The nuns send him away, but Theodora leaves her book and calls after him. She reveals to the reader that she is, in fact, Bradamante. She entered the convent to sort out her love for Agilulf but then realized that she longed for Raimbaut. She chases after Raimbaut, wondering what the future has in store for her.
