Don Pedro, Claudio, and company arrive at the monument of Leonato.

Claudio reads a speech from a scroll declaring Hero’s guilt. Accompanied by music, a song is sung in honor of Hero. Claudio vows to complete this ritual every year.

As dawn comes, Don Pedro sends the company home and goes with Claudio to prepare for the wedding and go to Leonato’s house.
