 In Hero’s sitting room, Hero orders Ursula to summon Beatrice and consults with Margaret about her wedding garb. When Beatrice arrives, she is unwell but still advises Hero to prepare for her wedding.

Ursula announces that the time has come for Hero to be escorted to the church for the wedding, and they all go into Hero’s bedchamber to help her dress.
