The pool with a length of 6 feet and width of 10 ft is initially filled to a depth of 6 ft. The volume of water in the pool is 6*10*6 = 360 cubic feet. 

After half a day 15 cubic feet of water is lost. This decreases the depth of the pool by `15/(6*10) = 15/60 = 1/4` feet. The new depth of the pool is 6 - 0.25 = 5.75 feet.

The new depth of the pool is 5.75 feet.
