The formula for Basic Percent Equation is represented by

Percent * Base = Amount

`P*B= A`

we are given `P=35% or 0.35`

                  `A=16`

by substituting the values, we have

`0.35*B=16`

`B=16/0.35`

`B=45.71`

In other words, `16` is `35% ` of `45.71`
