I believe that science and technology has most impacted literature in terms of the distribution of literature.  The printing press made literature easier and cheaper to reproduce, which in turn allowed more people access to reading.  I believe that science and technology has done the same thing.  Now instead of needing to physically print millions of copies of books and ship them all over the world, readers can find digital copies of almost anything.  Many of those copies are available for free as online PDFs.  Furthermore, digital copies of books automatically sync across multiple devices, so a reader can almost never claim to not have access to a book or a magazine.  Science and technology has allowed literature to continue flourishing, because it has given people easier access to literature.
