Heppenstall, (John) Rayner 1911–

Heppenstall is an English novelist, poet, critic, short story writer, playwright, editor, and translator. Often autobiographical, his work reflects the influence of Yeats, Blake, and the French symbolists, as well as the French New Novelists.
