Note that Afro-Eurasia consists of three different continents: Africa, Europe, and Asia. Thus, to answer the question, think about the power and influence of women within societies located on each continent from 1200 to 1450.

For example, you could take a close look at the women living in various sub-Saharan African civilizations during the period in question. It is well known that during that time, most women in those civilizations were subordinate to their male counterparts but still played a crucial role in the political, economic, and social dynamics of the communities in which they were part. Many of them conducted labor outside of their homes and took on duties beyond the domestic realm. They participated in farming and fieldwork. They also participated in trade. Women also took on religious duties by instilling spiritual traditions in the minds of newer generations.

It is worth noting that many West African communities practiced matriarchal lineage and allowed women to produce heirs and inherit property. Take all of this into consideration, and think about the level of power and influence women in post-classical, sub-Saharan Africa had. Then, look at communities in post-classical Europe and Asia, and take a close look at what the women there were able to do and what spaces they were able to occupy.
