This is a series of extended I used as extra credit after reading the story The Great Gatsby. The first section of extended activities contains several written assignments. All three of these focus on different types of literary analysis. The last section contains a more hands on project. These extended assignments provided a way for me to reach my differentiated learning goals. It was very helpful in reaching out to students with different learning styles. While this particular printout outlines the work as extra credit. I have also used it in place of a test. Students were able to prove what they knew without a standard test assessment.
