Introduction
Tabori, George 1914–
Tabori, a novelist, dramatist, and screenwriter, was born in Hungary but has lived in the United States and West Germany. While his novels and plays usually present a provocative moral dilemma, critics have commented on the lack of satisfactory resolution. In addition to his original plays, Tabori has adapted the works of Brecht, Frisch, Strindberg, and Shakespeare.
