Just one? If I had just one favorite I'd be skinnier... One thing I miss so much from where I grew up is this fish that is called Trevally in English. We would marinate them in soy sauce and lemon juice and pepper and then grill them. I miss that!
Of stuff I still get to eat, chicken adobo might be my favorite. It's chicken boiled for a while in soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, pepper, and oregano. Then fried for a bit, eaten on rice with (optional) some of the sauce it was boiled in.
