Context: God's majesty, the psalmist says, is eloquently stated by the physical universe, which He has created. The ordered rising and setting of the sun and the systematic passing from night to day bespeak the wisdom of the Creator in words never heard, but conveyed throughout the world:

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shew-eth his handiwork.
Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. . . .
