Otis brings his guitar to play and a huge jar of dill pickles—the “biggest jar” Opal had ever seen. Shy about joining the party, Otis nervously repeats that he brought pickles. When the thunderstorm starts, they quickly move all the food inside, and Sweetie Pie pulls down the dog pictures to save them.
