Hi Teachers and Editors,

I've only been affiliated with e-notes for a month or so, and I can see how beneficial this is to current teachers and students. I just retired six months ago, and this has given me an opportunity to share what I've learned from experience. Mostly, though, I've appreciated the chance to stay connected with the subject matter I love as well the people who are learning it and teaching it. This is a brilliant idea--I only wish I'd thought of it first!
I just want to say a big thank you too for how e-notes is making my life easier as a teacher - I really appreciate the contact it gives me with other teachers, the ability to discuss and debate topics using forums like these and the ability to access quickly information about texts I am teaching and the ideas for teaching presented in the resources. You are a lifesaver.
I love the document exchange. I have found that it is a little difficult for me to find documents I need though. I agree with what some others have said, a lot of my handouts are adapted from the internet. Most of them I make myself though, so it is nice to get a little something else out of it!
Thank you for all the additional resources. Anything to help make a teacher's job easier is a boon. Anyone who thinks teaching is not difficult and/or emotionally draining hasn't been in the classroom. Thanks again!
This is a great idea. You're forcing me to become more creative, though. Most of the stuff I use is adapted from resources that I found on the Internet. Enotes keeps getting better and better.
