I am a writer, artist, and lover of humanity. I studied English and Classics at Wellesley College, where I developed a love of world literatures. I studied Classics at Vanderbilt (with coursework Egyptian and pre-Colombian civilizations), and next studied Ancient History at UC Berkeley (specifically studying historiography, as well as Mesopotamian, Greek, and Roman art). I love to travel, read, spend time outside, and learn new things each day.
I am polyglot and poetry enthusiast, formerly a teacher of Latin and Spanish. I'm happily married to a social studies teacher, and am a mother to a beautiful daughter, Eleanor.
