About
I have been teaching English for 14 years. Prior to that I was home raising my family and earning my Bachelor's Degree. Raising children while attending college was no easy feat, but the rewards are well worth it.I still enjoy the classroom, the students and the literature. It is challenging at times, but it is never dull. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY. I majored in English and minored in Education. I later attended The University of Fordham where I earned a Masters of Science in Education. I have been teaching at an all boy's prep school in New Rochelle, NY. I have taught 9, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade literature. My students have excelled at the Regent's level, Honor's level and Accelerated level. My experience encompasses various genres ranging from poetry to drama. I have taught World Literature, American Literature, Shakespeare and Mythology. While I have enjoyed it all, my favorite is American Literature.
