About
I graduated cum laude from Boston University with a degree in history in 2006. More recently, I've been working as a teacher for almost four years and in that time, I've moved from classroom to individual and back again. I have experience teaching all AP History tests, AP English lit/lang, and the SAT writing/critical reading sections in addition to individual coursework. More than anything, I love helping students learn - I love finding answers, providing ideas, and enjoying their connections!

Answered a Question in The Tell-Tale Heart
I think Poe is one of the most important American authors, which is certainly going to color my opinion of this quote. That said, I think you're looking at a stylistically sophisticated sentence... -
Answered a Question in The Raven
Reproduced here: Startled at the stillness broken by reply so aptly spoken, "Doubtless," said I, "what it utters is its only stock and store, Caught from some unhappy master, whom unmerciful... -
Answered a Question in Rudyard Kipling
The title of poetry is extremely important and it's your first clue: "Seal Lullaby", by Kipling. This is a lullaby, of course. It's a gentle poem and read aloud, the beat rocks back and forth --...
