With a background in journalism and library studies, Becky Libourel Diamond has had a varied career combining writing and research. Ms. Diamond is the author of two books on food history: The Thousand Dollar Dinner and Mrs. Goodfellow: The Story of America's First Cooking School. She is currently working on two book projects: The Jayne Building: America's First Skyscraper, and The Restauranteur, about Oscar Tucci's role in revitalizing Delmonico's restaurant.
