Frequently Asked Questions

I paid with Amazon, why do I see a charge in my Amazon account?

You are not charged at the time you set up a free trial; however, a pending authorization of the trial amount will be put on hold to guarantee the funds should your trial activate after its expiration.  In your Amazon account, this may look like a charge, but the funds have not been captured and are simply on hold.

If you cancel your trial before the trial period ends, you will not be charged, and the pending or authorized amount will disappear from your credit card account. Please note that depending on the issuing bank of your credit card, it may take 1-3 days for the the charge to disappear.

Paying with Amazon simply means that you are using one of the credit cards on your Amazon account; therefore you should look to your credit card account as the authoritative source for your charges. You will see eNotes in the "pending" or "authorized" state while your trial is active.
