As a young man, what life roles might I experience in my life? So far I have come up with son/brother, student, plumbing apprentice, friend, citizen/inmate. What other life roles could I potentially have?

There are other life roles which you may have. You could be a mentor, which could be in the areas of your home, school, work, or religious life. You could be a nephew or cousin if that applies to you. You could be a volunteer if you are donating your time and talents toward helping others. If you have a part-time job, you would be a worker. You are a colleague to other students and/or workers. If you are involved in sports, you would be a teammate. You might be a leader if you are involved in student council or the head of a club or activity. You could be a trendsetter if you are one whom people look to for new ideas or keeping up with fashion. You might be a listener or support group member if people come to you to share their thoughts about issues they are facing. If you give advice to people on any topic, you might be an advisor. If you are in charge of club's or group's finances, you could be a treasurer. You may play many roles in your life, some of which you rarely consider.
You might also be known as an employee or contract laborer depending on your work status. You may be an encourager if people ask for you to help with their problems. You might be an entrepreneur if you have ideas about new business possibilities. You may be known as a peace maker or peace keeper if you tend to solve problems for others or avoid conflict yourself.
