If you had to recreaet the scene leading up to Meursault killing the arab what would be your version?
the character has to be in tradional form meaning that we know his last nam, his proffesion, background of his life, his personality
I am uncertain of the parameters, but I would focus on Marie. When the three men return to the beach house after the initial confrontation with the Arabs, Meursault hesitates before he enters the home and returns to the beach. In my version, I would have Meursault enter. Once inside, Marie would accost him with a multitude of questions regarding the violent interlude. Frustratingly unsatisfied, Marie is forced to flee the scene desiring solitude. Marie would unknowingly walk towards the Arab. The Arab, recognizing Marie from the bus stop, would violently attack her assuming that she is Raymond's girlfriend. Marie would be murdered thus propelling Camus' absurdist theory even further(?).
I hope you can use this as a starting point. Good luck!
