Try this set of data:

13 13 14 15 16 17 17

The mean = (13+13+14+15+16+17+17) 7 = 15

The median = The middle number = 15

The mode = the most occuring number = 13 and 17  since they occured 2 times each.

You can also add as much 13's and 17's as you want , the mean, median and mopde will remain the same.

It looks to me like you all you need to remember is what mean, median and mode are.

The mean is just what you would call the average.  You take the sum of all the numbers in your data set and divide them by how many numbers there are.  You need that to come out to 15.  So, for example, if your set were 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 your mean would be 15.

Your median would also be 15 here because it is the number that is the halfway point of all the numbers in the data set when they are put in order.

A mode is the number that occurs most often in the data set.  So your set would have to have an equal number of 13s and 15s and no other number that occurred that many times.

To have a set of data with mean 15 = median and modes 13 and 15.

The median is the middle of the dat when arraged according to increasing value of the characteristic.

Mode or the modes are values of the variable for which the frequency is hoghest.

Mean is the average value .

 xi              fi           xifi

12              2          24

13              5          65

14              1          14

15              5          75

16              3          48

17              2          34

18              2          36

19              1          19

--------------------------------

Total         21         315

Sum (fi) = 21

 So Mean = sum of(xi*fi) sum of (fi) = 315/21 = 15

Mode 13  and 15 with highest frequency.

Median is the middle of xi = 15 since x i 's are equal in number both above and below.

try 13,13,15,19...thats what i used for my hw.  That should help....if it doesnt work let me know.....
