Interesting question. It's difficult in contemporary times to see how any country can survive economically without participating in the global economy. Indonesia can only benefit from the opening of the world market to its products and services. Further, with the advent of the internet, it's entirely possible now to earn a living without ever meeting one's clients face to face.

This is a good question. I would say that globalization is great for Indonesia for a few reasons. First, the economic market in Indonesia is not that great. So, they will not be able to make too much money from their own people. Second, Indonesia is pretty isolated, in that it is far away from where the money is. So, to get their products, or better yet their natural resources to other markets would be important. Finally, Indonesia is rich country in terms of their natural resources. If companies can develop these things in an efficient way, then they can make a lot of money. So, in short, I believe that globalization can only help Indonesia.
