Will there ever be complete equality between males and females in the United States?

It is, of course impossible to know this for sure, but it seems very likely that there will be complete equality at some point in the not-too-distant future.  I say this because we have moved so far towards equality in just the last few decades.

A few decades ago, it was still perfectly acceptable to talk about women being bad drivers and about them not being emotionally stable and other such stereotypes.  There were essentially no women in high positions in government or business.

Today, things are much different.  Women are not completely equal to men in things like pay and the amount of housework done, but the gap is closing.  It is perfectly acceptable today for a man to be a stay-at-home parent.  More women than men go to college.  These sorts of trends are moving us toward a situation of complete equality.
