Why not extract a quotation from the play and explain how it is central to characterization or theme?  For instance, Cassius tells Brutus in Act I, Scene 2,

Men at some time are masters of their fates:
The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars,
But in ourselves, that we are underlings. (1.2.145-147)

Write a thesis, then, on how these words hold true for Brutus and Cassius or Caesar and Brutus, comparing and contrasting two characters. Or, write a thesis on how these lines illustrate the theme Fate vs. Choice and explain by analyzing certain actions of certain characters that affects their lives.

You could do an essay focusing on Julius Caesar himself and discuss what led to Caesar's downfall. With a five paragraph essay, you need an introduction, a body, and a conclusion. The introduction should present the issue you are discussing and give an overall statement of what lead to Caesar's downfall. Each body paragraph should lead to a different factor that lead to his downfall, and the conclusion should sum up what you said and restate your thesis in different words.

Comparison and contrast topics are often good because they force the writer to be analytical and detailed. You might want to compare and contrast two characters in the play (Brutus and Antony are the obvious choices). It might be best, though, to compare and contrast two characters who have smaller parts in the play.

You might want to pick a central character to help you complete a five paragraph essay. For example, if you pick a character like Brutus, you could easily find three different characteristics about him to base your middle paragraphs on. There are plenty of resources on this website that you could use to help you do this.

To suggest something, a good essay on Caesar would address his works as a general, a writer, and his impact on the development of the Roman Empire. You could easily use each of the following to complete a paragraph on each. The opening could include a quote by Caesar (in order to gain the reader's attention).
