A person who would enjoy working in a learning organization rather than a high involvement organization is a person who is flexible and willing to learn but who is not as dynamic and aggressive a person who would want to work in a high involvement organization.
A high involvement organization is one in which employees are expected to participate actively in the running of the business. Such a firm breaks down the boundaries between managerial and other positions. Employees are expected to be able to take more responsibility on themselves.
A person who is not very aggressive and dynamic might not feel comfortable in such an organization. They might prefer a learning organization where they were expected to learn and to be able to do many different kinds of jobs, but were not expected to take on managerial responsibilities. Such a person could be a very good worker, but would simply not be comfortable having to have what they would see as "too much" responsibility.
