There are several reasons for wanting to become a teacher. First and foremost is the ability to influence future generations and hone their young minds and skills. A teacher holds a prominent place in influencing society through his/her students. Many people become teachers for this very reason, to be able to impart knowledge to future generations.

Another reason to become a teacher is to constantly face new challenges, mental exercises that keep a teacher always energetic and young at heart. This also keeps the spirit of life-long learning alive and helps you keep your knowledge level updated.

Another reason would be the respect associated with the profession and they, apart from doctors, are the most respected profession in the world.

Teachers also have a refreshing schedule. They never know what a student will say or ask, and that's what makes the job exciting.
