Myles Falworth is the protagonist in the novel Men of Iron by Howard Pyle. Given that he maintains the role of the central character of the novel, Pyle provides a very round and dynamic characterization of him.
Myles seems to possess all of the characteristics which would make him popular in any modern group or environment. Myles is a leader, whose bold and generous nature earns him respect from both his friends and his enemies (everyone has enemies--even the likable Myles).
Regardless of his sometimes hotheaded nature, Myles remains honorable. His focus on honor and bravery enable him to become a much honored knight.
Therefore, based upon the overall good nature of his character, Myles certainly makes for a wonderful example of a role model.
