Stephan Walter is an illustrator and graphic designer from Zurich, Switzerland. His illustrations and graphic design work have been published in many contemporary publications, including Varoom Magazine, Elle, Dazed and Confused, Kinky Magazine, and Time Out. His work has also been involved in many exhibitions, most notably the "How To Cook Panda Bears Without Loosing Your Soul" exhibition at the Coningsby Gallery in London. His work is often bright, busy, and fuses nostalgic elements with contemporary aesthetics. Walter is inspired by Edward Hopper and Robert Venturi, and he tends to listen to Big Band and Rat Pack music while he works. The era of Frank Sinatra can often be seen in his nostalgic, bold fonts. Ultimately, Walter claims to be more of a graphic designer than an illustrator, although his design work tends to feature many illustrations.
