The answer to this question is an intensely personal one and one which you must answer for yourself.  Our views on Christology will not necessarily be anywhere near to yours and it would be much better for you to give an answer that you believe in.  In this answer, I will identify the major issue at play in Christology so that you can decide where you stand on that issue.

The major issue in Christology has historically been the issue of what Jesus was.  The question is whether Jesus was God, human, or both.  On the one hand, Christians essentially have to believe in the divinity of Christ in order to be Christian.  They have to believe that Christ is divine and that Christ always existed.  On the other hand, Christians have to deal with the idea that Jesus lived on Earth in the body of a human being.  Historically, there have been controversies as to how human Jesus really was.  Was he fully human, just like we are, or was he really just God who took on the appearance of a human being?  Is it possible for someone to be fully human and fully divine at the same time?  This is the major issue at the center of Christology.  What do you believe?  Do you believe that Jesus had to be fully human in order to be able to act as our Savior or do you believe that it is not possible to really be human if you are God?
