There are several different ways to interpret this question. The ambiguity lies in how one defines the point from which to measure the beginning of their lives. Based on the facts presented in the books, you could come to different conclusions depending on the following variables: the year that each sibling was originally born, the age at which each person was turned, or the order in which they joined the Cullen family after becoming vampires.

For this reason, I have provided a profile for each character in the Cullen family that answers each of the variables.

  • Edward Cullen was born on June 20, 1901, and was physically seventeen years old and dying from the Spanish Influenza when turned by Carlisle. He stays with Carlisle from that point (1918) onward.
  • Alice Cullen was born around 1901 and is physically twenty years old. She found Jasper first, and the pair found the Cullen family at the same time (around 1963).
  • Emmett Cullen was born in 1915 and is physically twenty years old. Carlisle turned him in 1935 after Rosalie found him mauled by a bear.
  • Rosalie Hale was born in 1915 in Rochester, New York, and is physically eighteen years old. She was turned in 1933 and has stayed with the Cullens ever since.
  • Jasper Hale was born in 1844 and is physically nineteen years old. A vampire named Maria turned him in 1863, and he and Alice joined the Cullen family around 1963.

It should be noted that, in the book, Rosalie and Jasper are the only two of the five "children" to bear a different last name than the rest of the family. They share the last name, Hale, and act like a brother and sister that have been taken in by Carlisle and Esme. So, technically, it could be argued that they are not truly part of the Cullen family, though this response chooses to regard them as equal members of the family.
