Who does Marlow finally tell Kurtz's story to?
Written by Joseph Conrad, Heart of Darkness is a novella written in 1899. The story begins with the central character, seaman Charles Marlow, working on a ship called the Nellie which sits on the River Thames in England. This is where he tells Kurtz’s story. He tells the story to four other men who are on board the Nellie that night, including an unnamed man who was the story’s narrator up to this point.
