Copper is a very suitable metal to use in the production of a saucepan. It has the atomic number of 29 and is known as an element with a very high thermal conductivity as well as a high electrical conductivity. The thermal conductivity makes it an excellent substance to use in cooking pots and pans. It is excellent  for fast and even heat distribution.  It is also a soft metal  which means it can made into many different products. Another interesting property of copper is that is has antimicrobial properties. It can destroy a wide range of bacteria as well as some fungi and viruses. This would be a health benefit.
