Your question is really not at all clear.  Are you asking about goals that the colonies had during the Revolution?  If so, I would say that the answer is D -- that the US was not really trying for freedom of the seas.  The issue of freedom of the seas was really more of an issue during the War of 1812.

However, A could also be wrong if it refers to ending all colonialism.  This was not an American goal in the Revolution.  The Americans did of course want themselves to be free, but they were not ideologically opposed to colonialism.  They were not going to go out and try to end Spanish control of Mexico or Cuba, for example.

So I can't be sure which answer is correct because the question is really hard to understand.
