It is well to mention that many religions believe that a day on Earth will come when all people will be at peace with each other. It is ironic that religionists believe this because it is very often religious beliefs that cause conflicts and wars. Perhaps the goal of humanity is to learn to view religions as a power to live for instead of die for. The United Nations Millennium Plan declares objectives of providing food and water and shelter and education for every person on the planet. When humanity can realize the fulfillment of these objectives and can live for their religions instead of die for them, then humanity will have a good chance of seeing that day of peace.
