Which character from To Kill a Mockingbird would most likely write a letter to Scout and what would that person say in the letter?
For my assignment I have to write a letter from another character in the novel to Scout. I have to include things such as "what I have been meaning to tell them," etc.

I'm not sure if Scout would rather receive a letter from Boo Radley or from Dill, but I'm sure Dill would be the most likely person to write her one. After all, Dill and Scout are in love, and he has become her "permanent fiance." They have shared kisses, both in public and in private, and they have even talked innocently of having a baby together. Scout does receive letters from Dill while he is back home in Meridian, and Scout desperately looks forward to hearing from Dill while they are apart.
... summer came and Dill was not there. I received a letter and snapshot from him. The letter said he had a new father... Dill concluded by saying he would love me forever and not to worry, he would come get me and marry me as soon as he got enough money together, so please write. (Chapter 12)
Dill would no doubt be professing his love for her, but he would also be telling more of his wild stories about the mostly non-existent adventures he claims to have experienced. Although their childhood love affair probably burns out eventually (Scout does not mention Dill in Chapter 1 when she reflects upon the past from an adult perspective), Dill and Scout will no doubt carry on their puppy love for many summers to come.
