As a child, I learned that God is everywhere.  God is in the caterpillar, changing to a butterfly.  God is in the glistening dew on the grass.  God is in the church, but also in the meadow.  And yes, God is on the battlefield.

You aren't alone in your search, I think, and asking questions is a good way to gain other people's perspectives on faith and God.  I, too, believe God is everywhere--omnipresent.  I also believe He is omnipotent (all powerful) and omniscient (all-knowing).  He created us in His image, He knows us and formed us and understands our need for something or someone greater than ourselves.  He understood we fell from our created state of perfection--again, in His likeness--and needed a Savior to provide forgiveness of sins if we ask.  When we do, He is still omnipresent; but He also lives inside us through His Spirit. Ask Him and He will reveal Himself to you; when you do, He's not hard to find.  Blessings on your journey.

If there is a God, Why can we not see Him?would first like to remove one misconception which commonly besets people with regard to the existence of God. If there is a God, why are we not able to see Him? This is hardly a new question, and we have heard it from time immemorial. The Holy Quran tells us that the same question was put to the Holy Prophet (saw) by the nonbelievers of Arabia. (Bani Isra’il 17:93)Whenever I hear people raising this question, I feel sorry for them. It is such a pity that when man stumbles and his reason becomes blunted by the veils of indifference, he starts denying even theself-evident truths. When this objection was raised in the past—however absurd and baseless it was—it had the potential to deceive some ignorant people. But what surprises me is that this objection should be raised in the present age! I am truly astonished at the intellect of people who use such objections to justify their denial of God.

hello my friend, i believe that the real god "ALLAH" is everywhere, you can not say he is in an exact spot or so, just put in mind that he is everywhere and can see, hear and feel you at any stage and time. Humans can not see "Allah", but allah can see humans including you and me, because he created them and everythingelse around you. The only way we can communicate with god is by praying and the only way that we make him happy is to follow his instructions which will lead us to a god life (the next world heaven) or if u are bad u will be in hell. I hope that helps, if you have more questions add me on facebook.
