Where did Abraham Lincoln die and who killed him?
I thought I heard someone say that someone had shot him in a movie theater. Is that true? If it is true, what movie was he watching while he got killed? Thanks for taking your time to write down the answer for me. :)

The sixteenth President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) was attending a presentation of the play (movies had not yet been invented), Our American Cousin, at Ford's Theatre in Washington, D. C. when he was shot in the back of the head by the actor and Confederate sympathizer John Wilkes Booth on the night of April 14, 1865. Lincoln was taken across the street to the Petersen House where the mortally wounded President lingered in a coma for the rest of the night before dying at 7:22 a.m. on the morning of April 15. His assassin, Booth, was shot and killed 10 days later in Virginia. Four of Booth's co-conspirators were later hanged, and three others were sentenced to prison for their part in Lincoln's death.
Lincoln was assassinated on April 14, 1865 by actor John Wilkes Booth at Ford's Theatre in Washington D.C. The theatre was not a movie theatre but a player's theatre. Lincoln was watching a play called Our American Cousin.
