what would be the thesis statement and/or arguement if the study/thesis is about the perception of female catholic college students regarding legal abortion?

this thesis must be legal study. in philippines, abortion is legally restricted and predominant by the catholic.our group wants to know whether or not, if female catholic will support abortion (specifically) under health risk circumstances  and if their decsions were influenced by their religion as a catholic. if this not a legal study, what would be your recommendation? or any remedy to make it legal study? do we have to change our respondents like we have to conduct a survey to those who are in medical field or lawyers to make this study significant concerning law. thank you.

This is a somewhat confusing question because people's perceptions have little to do with the law.  Can you provide us with more information about your assignment?  If you are doing your own research on this issue, you will need a hypothesis.  If you have an argument to make on the issue, is this an argument having to do with the perceptions of this group of women?  Perhaps you want to argue that the college experience has changed their perceptions, or argue that it has not.  Either way, this certainly is not an legal issue.
