In order to come up with a great thesis, you need to think about what this story is concerned with, what questions it deals with and what you want to focus on.
“Eveline,” is the story of the second division – adolescence. The story mainly deals with Eveline’s mental struggle to choose between staying in the old world of duty and familiarity and escaping to the world of uncertainty and potential happiness.
The story explores the following questions – Why is Eveline not sure about embracing the new world? Why does she want to escape? What impediments does she face? Would she make a different decision if she had more time to decide? The tale also concentrates on her relationship with her father and Frank, the man she wants to run away with.
One of the problems I would want to analyze, for example, is why Eveline is unable to escape despite having a literal opportunity to do so.
