The whole emphasis of this great passage of Scripture is on how Christ has fulfilled all the promises of the Old Testament, and rendered null and void the need for humans to offer blood sacrifices to atone for their sins. Note how in verse 10 it says:

And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all.

Note how this encapsulates the Gospel message, that through faith in Jesus Christ we are made holy through his willing sacrifice of himself on the cross for us, thus taking away the barrier of sin that divides fallen humanity from God.
