An annotated bibliography should include a summary and your evaluation of each of the sources--books, websites, magazines, newsletters or etc. you look at for your research. Depending upon whether you use MLA (Modern Language Association), APA (American Psychology Association), or some other citation sources, these resources will end up on a "Works Cited" or "Reference" page. These pages will include many details, but your annotated bibliography will usually include simple information such as the title, author, publisher and so on.
The use of an annotated bibliography is valuable for your research as it forces you to consider many sources in terms of what information they have to offer, and it also forces you to begin considering how the individual sources will influence the whole product.
